Carol B. Hole

Carols work is fresh and energetic. It depicts the energy inherent in landscapes and floral work. Carol executes her work in a semi abstract style employing techniques from Impressionism to the Orient.

Formal art training started at Ipswich Art School where she studied under a variety of famous visiting artists, Eduado Paolozzi, Anthony Caro and David Smith. Studies continued at De Monfort University Leicester. She graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Fashion and Textiles.

Post Graduation she worked in high pressure production of haut-couture and high street fashion; experience which proved invaluable for intensive working to deadlines. From working in fashion and after gaining experience in advertising and marketing, she took up a career in teaching which after eighteen years she relinquished in 1997 to paint full time.

Her first exhibition, at Bank Gallery, Kenilworth was notably success and was swiftly followed by a second in 1998. This generated sales to a number of International Corporations. (Kodak, Conoco Ltd, Nuffield Hospitals, Smallbone of Devises).

In addition to her main preoccupation of painting she has worked with interior designers and has produced a video marketed internationally for home improvements.

Carol is a sought after artist, by both the private and commercial market.
